Financial market statistics

Financial market statistics are statistics on Swedish financial institutions and the financial markets.
 

Statistics Sweden publishes financial market statistics since 1 April 2003 the Riksbank has commissioned Statistics Sweden to gather, compile and publish statistics on the financial market.

 
These statistics include, for instance,

• money supply
• balance sheets
• interest rate statistics and
• the securities market.

The statistics are based on reports from monetary financial institutions (MFIs), which include banks, mortgage institutions, financial companies, municipal and corporate-financed institutions, monetary securities companies and monetary investment funds (money market funds).
