Photo Petter KarlbergThe Administration Department (ADM) consists of a staff unit and units working with cash management, personnel, financial management, security surveillance and service and premises and security. The cash management unit implements the Riksbank’s assignment of supplying Sweden with banknotes and coins. Other units are responsible for many of the support functions in the bank, such as financial and personnel issues, the Riksbank’s properties, security, transportation and security surveillance. In addition, all service activities, such as telephony, archives, storerooms, mail and cleaning, belong here. The staff unit of the Administration Department consists of departmental management (head of department and deputy head of department) and a procurement function that assists the bank in procurement issues with its expert knowledge. In other words, ADM has many different roles and activities, but the common objective is to ensure that the Bank is in a position to succeed with its main tasks.

 

Organisation

Head of Department is Agneta Rönström and Deputy Head is Marianne Olsson. In addition to a support staff, the department consists of five divisions:

  • Accounting
  • Surveillance and Service
  • Cash Management
  • Premises and Security
  • Personnel
