Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate.

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Update for November 2024.

The decision on the level of the policy rate will apply from 13 November 2024.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference in Falun on the monetary policy decision. NB! The press conference starts at 10:00 CET. The press conference will take place at Magasinet, Tullkammaregatan 12. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se and on Youtube. The second Financial Stability Report of the year will be published.

In her first published speech, Deputy Governor Anna Seim will discuss the concept of a neutral interest rate and how the Riksbank views it. Albin Kainelainen, Director-General of the National Institute of Economic Research, will also participate and the seminar will be moderated by Åsa Olli Segendorf, Head of the Monetary Policy Department at the Riksbank.
