Retrieving interest rates and exchange rates via API

The API for interest rates and exchange rates is a REST API that makes it possible to collect the most recently published interest rate and exchange rate values or previous publications for a time period. The REST API is newly developed and was published on 27 November 2023. You can use the API free of charge. The number of calls that may be made during a period of time from a given IP address is limited, if you need to make more calls, you can register as a user in the Riksbank's API portal.

The Riksbank’s old SOAP API for interest rates and exchange rates has been closed down

The Riksbank's old SOAP API for interest rates and exchange rates has been closed down as of 27 May 2024, and will no longer function. Anyone who wants to automatically retrieve interest rates and exchange rates via the API from the Riksbank must have an integration with the new REST API.
