CPIF sub-groups
The CPIF is the Riksbank’s target variable for inflation and is used as a basis for the Riksbank’s monetary policy decisions. In its monetary policy analysis, the Riksbank also studies price developments for various sub-groups of the CPIF.
The Riksbank publishes the CPIF broken down into the sub-groups Goods (excluding food), Services, Food, Energy and Capital Stock in conjunction with Statistics Sweden's monthly publication of the CPIF.
