False information regarding the sale of e-kronas

The Riksbank has also received information from people saying that they have received telephone calls from companies claiming to sell e-kronor on behalf of the Riksbank. However, it has not been decided yet whether the Riksbank will issue an e-krona and it is not possible to buy e-kronor.

The Riksbank urges all those who are subject to these and similar fraud attempts to report their occurrence to the police.
