International conference on current economic challenges

News On 2–3 May, the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) and the Riksbank are arranging an international conference with the title “Global Economies at the Crossroads: Growing Together While Growing Apart?”

At the conference, current economic challenges will be discussed, including what will affect the outlook for growth in Europe and the United States over the next few years, and the consequences of the economic outlook for Swedish, European and US companies.

The conference will be for invited participants. Representatives from central banks, public authorities, companies and think tanks from Sweden, Europe and the United States will participate.

The conference will be held at the Riksbank, apart from the closing presentation by Charles Evans, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, which will be held at the hotel At Six in Stockholm and which will be open to journalists.

NABE is a US association for economists that has arranged conferences, training courses, industry surveys and networking meet-ups since 1959.
