Ulrika Söderberg new General Counsel at the Riksbank

The Executive Board of the Riksbank has appointed Ulrika Söderberg as new General Counsel at the Riksbank.

Ulrika most recently held a managerial position at Handelsbanken. She has previously served as a legal expert in the Swedish Government Offices and as a judge in the Swedish judiciary.

Within Handelsbanken, Ulrika has been chief of staff and responsible for regulatory, legal and governance issues in one of the bank's business areas. Ulrika has also served as General Counsel for Stadshypotek AB.

She will take up the position in October 2022. Ulrika succeeds Dag Edvardsson, who will become a senior advisor at the General Secretariat.
