Head of IT Mats Eklund: We are looking for more skills to accelerate our digitalisation
News On 5 February, the Riksbank will take part in Techjobsmässan – Sweden's largest recruitment event in technology and IT. "We are increasing the pace of technological development at the Riksbank. To realise our plans for a digitalisation journey, the Riksbank needs more committed employees who want to take us forward and shape the digital solutions of the future for a strong and secure economy," says Mats Eklund, Head of IT at the Riksbank.
The Riksbank is the hub of Sweden's financial system, and we have a unique social mission. This places high demands on our IT environment, which includes several systems critical to society.
– The rapid technological developments in the world around us require continuous skills development, both internally and when recruiting new staff. Digitalisation affects everything – from our processes and working methods to the implementation of new technological solutions. To meet these challenges, we are looking for more dedicated employees who are ready to explore new technologies, take on complex problems and develop innovative digital solutions, Mats Eklund continues.
The Riksbank's presence at the Techjobs trade fair on 5 February is about attracting new employees. We will have the opportunity to talk about what makes the Riksbank an attractive place to work, and how we will work to accelerate our digitalisation.
