The Riksbank to offer fourth loan in US dollars on Thursday 23 April

The Riksbank decided on 19 March to offer loans to banks in US dollars (USD) against collateral. Three auctions have taken place, on 26 March, 2 April and 16 April.

The fourth auction is for USD 10 billion with a maturity of 3 months and will be held on Thursday 23 April, starting at 1400 hours. The framework amount is USD 60 billion up to and including 18 September 2020.

Dollar loans are one of the measures the Riksbank is offering to banks to alleviate the negative effects on the real economy of the coronavirus pandemic.
