Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 4

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 11 September 2019.

The Riksbank will hold a press conference on the interest rate decision. Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, and Jesper Hansson, Head of the Monetary Policy Department, will participate in the press conference.

Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend the press conference.

The press conference will be held at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11.

The press conference will be broadcast live on the website, but can also be watched afterwards.

Governor Stefan Ingves will talk about the economic situation and current monetary policy during a visit to London.

Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley will participate in a panel discussion on digital currencies at the conference Global Imbalances and Capital Flows in the Era of New Technologies.

Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will participate in a panel discussion on digital currencies at the OECD Global Blockchain Policy Forum.

Governor Stefan Ingves will hold a speech on the housing market at Business Arena in Stockholm.

Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will talk about the economic situation and current monetary policy at the conference “Arbetsmarknad och Ekonomi” (Labour market and economy) arranged by Saco (the Swedish Confederation of Professional Associations) for union ombudsmen in the private sector.

Deputy Governor Per Jansson will talk about the economic situation and participate in a panel discussion at a breakfast meeting arranged by property sector organisation Fastighetsägarna Syd in Malmö.

On 24 September, the Parliamentary Committee on Finance will arrange an open hearing on current monetary policy. Governor Stefan Ingves and Deputy Governor Per Jansson will participate.
