The Financial Markets Survey provides a picture of how actors active on the Swedish fixed income and foreign exchange markets view the functioning of the Swedish financial markets, market activity and the risks they feel may exist in the Swedish financial system in the period ahead.

Deputy Governor Per Jansson will hold a speech in which he reflects over the economic situation and current monetary policy, and discusses the significance of the monetary policy framework we have at present.

Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will discuss the economic situation and current monetary policy at Public Housing Sweden’s conference for elected officials in public housing companies.

Representatives of the Riksbank, Finansinspektionen (the Swedish FSA), the Swedish National Debt Office and the Government will gather for a meeting of the Financial Stability Council.

Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 6

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 8 January 2020.

The minutes from the Executive Board's monetary policy discussion on 18 December will be published 8 January 2020.

The Riksbank will hold a press conference on the interest rate decision. Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, and Jesper Hansson, Head of the Monetary Policy Department, will participate in the press conference.

Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend the press conference.

The press conference will be held at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11.
