The report "Account of Monetary Policy in 2019" is published on the Riksbank's website.

The speech will published and broadcast live on the Riksbank’s website, riksbank.se, at 10.00.

Stefan Ingves will deliver a speech with reference to the various measures taken by the Riksbank in recent weeks. The speech will be broadcast live online. Media representatives are welcome to participate at the Riksbank on Brunkebergstorg. Stefan Ingves will be available for questions after the speech. Owing to the coronavirus, the following applies to visitors to the Riksbank:

You must be in good health and been free of symptoms for at least two days. You must not have met a person who has a confirmed corona infection.

First Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley will inform the Riksdag Committee on Finance about the measures taken as a result of the coronavirus.

In light of the effects of the coronavirus on the financial markets, Minister for Financial Markets Per Bolund has called a meeting of the Financial Stability Council. Apart from the Minister for Financial Markets Per Bolund, participants at the meeting will include Finansinspektionen Director-General Erik Thedéen, Governor of the Riksbank Stefan Ingves and National Debt Office Director-General Hans Lindblad.

Deputy Governor Anna Breman will take part in the International Monetary Fund’s Spring Meeting, via video link.

Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 2

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 29 April 2020.

The Riksbank is holding a press conference on its monetary policy decision. Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, and Jesper Hansson, Head of the Riksbank’s Monetary Policy Department, will participate in the press conference.

The press conference will be broadcast live on the website but can also be watched afterwards.

Deputy Governor Anna Breman is participating in the SNS Finance Panel on the role of monetary policy during the corona crisis. The Finance Panel will be held online.
