Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate.

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Report for February 2023.

The decision on the policy rate will apply from 15 February 2023.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference on the monetary policy decision with Governor Erik Thedéen and Jesper Hansson, head of the Monetary Policy Department. The press conference will take place at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11, but pre-registered journalists can also participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se, where it can also be watched afterwards.

Journalists who wish to participate and ask questions via Zoom must pre-register with the press office either by telephone 08-787 0200 or by e- mail  susanne.meyer@riksbank.se by no later than 10.00 on 9 February.

Governor Erik Thedéen will hold a presentation and participate in a discussion on the economic situation and current monetary policy during a seminar organised by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Deputy Governor Per Jansson will participate in a seminar together with Annika Alexius, Professor of Economics, and Elinor Odeberg, Chief Economist Arena Idé, on the risks of continuing to raise or not raise the policy rate.
