The first Financial Stability Report of the year will be published.

The Riksbank will hold a press conference on financial stability. Erik Thedéen, Governor of the Riksbank, and Olof Sandstedt, Head of the Financial Stability Department, will take part in the press conference.

Preregistered journalists will be able to participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend.

The press conference will be broadcast live on riksbank.se. Journalists who wish to participate and ask questions via Zoom must preregister with the press office, either by telephone +46-(0)8-787 0200 or by e-mail to susanne.meyer@riksbank.se, no later than 10.00 am on 1 june.

Representatives of the Government, Finansinspektionen (the Swedish FSA), the Riksbank and the Swedish National Debt Office will gather for a meeting of the Financial Stability Council. More information about Financial Stability Council.

Governor Erik Thedéen will participate in a panel discussion on the current situation regarding supervision of the financial market in the light of previous crises. Other participants in the panel discussion are Jesper Berg, former Director of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and Morten Baltzersen, Director General of Finanstilsynet in Norway. Sindre Heyerdahl will be moderator.

Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate.

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Report for June 2023.

The decision on the level of the policy rate will apply from 5 July 2023.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference on the monetary policy decision with Governor Erik Thedéen and Mattias Erlandsson, Acting Head of the Monetary Policy Department. The press conference will take place at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11, but pre-registered journalists can also participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se, where it can also be watched afterwards.

First Deputy Governor Anna Breman will participate in a panel discussion on the economic situation, arranged by the Australian Embassy.
