Riksbank Governor Erik Thedéen will hold a lecture at the Economy Museum in which he will discuss his view of the economic situation in Sweden.

Governor Erik Thedéen will provide information on the general economic situation at the general preparatory meeting following the government meeting.

Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate.

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Report for September 2023.

The decision on the level of the policy rate will apply from 27 September 2023.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference on the monetary policy decision with Governor Erik Thedéen and Åsa Olli Segendorf, Head of the Monetary Policy Department. The press conference will take place at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11, but pre-registered journalists can also participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se, where it can also be watched afterwards.

Journalists who wish to participate and ask questions via Zoom must pre-register with the press office either by telephone 08-787 02 00 or by e- mail susanne.meyer@riksbank.se by no later than 10.00 on 21 September.

Governor Erik Thedéen will participate in a seminar on the depreciation of the krona arranged by SNS (Center for Business and Policy Studies) and SHOF (Swedish House of Finance) at the Stockholm School of Economics.
