How do we human beings make decisions? What guides us, as individuals and on a social level? The economics prize is about so much more than money. For example, the prize has been awarded to research on human behaviour, the labour market impact of minimum wages, relationships and community development. Most recently, research on banks and financial crises won the prize.
What will it be this year? Members of the Economic Sciences Prize Committee will talk about this year’s economics prize and explain the research behind it. Aino Bunge, Deputy Governor of the Riksbank, and representatives from the Economic Sciences Prize Committee will participate. Olof Somell from the Nobel Prize Museum will lead the conversation.
