Continued climate-related commitments from the Riksbank and Finansinspektionen

The Riksbank and Finansinspektionen commit to continue integrating climate-related risks into their activities and analysing how climate-related risks can affect the financial system and its stability. This is stated in a pledge published jointly today by the Riksbank and Finansinspektionen. Its purpose is to contribute to the global measures in the Glasgow declaration presented by Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) during the COP26 climate meeting. The NGFS, which gathers central banks and financial supervisory authorities around the world, wants to demonstrate with this declaration how to contribute to meeting the goals in the Paris agreement.
