Purchases of commercial paper every second week

The Riksbank’s purchases of commercial paper are being switched from auctions once a week to auctions every second week. From now on, the auctions will be held in weeks with even numbers (week 44, 46, etc.). Demand has been very low over the past year and it is the Riksbank’s assessment that it is sufficient to hold auctions every second week to produce the intended monetary policy effect.
