The Riksbank to offer second loan in US dollars on Thursday 2 April

The Riksbank decided on 19 March to offer loans to banks in US dollars (USD) against collateral. A first auction took place on 26 March.

A second auction of USD 10 billion with a maturity of 3 months will now be held on Thursday 2 April, starting at 14.00 hours. The framework amount is USD 60 billion up to and including 18 September 2020.

Dollar loans are one of the measures the Riksbank is offering to banks to alleviate the negative effects on the real economy of the coronavirus pandemic.
