General Council has decided on the allocation of the Riksbank’s profit

The General Council of the Riksbank has, in accordance with the Sveriges Riksbank Act, decided on the allocation of the Riksbank's profit for the financial year 2023. The Riksbank reports a profit of SEK 16,191 million for 2023. However, the profit is not sufficiently large to ensure that the Riksbank’s equity after the allocation of profits will reach the target level for equity pursuant to the Sveriges Riksbank Act. This means that no transfer will be made to the Treasury this year, and that the General Council has decided that the profits will be transferred to the Riksbank's primary capital.
