The Riksdag Committee on Finance is holding an open hearing on financial stability and macroprudential policy. Minister for Financial Markets Per Bolund, Riksbank Governor Stefan Ingves, Finansinspektionen Director-General Erik Thedéen, National Debt Office Director-General Hans Lindblad and Auditor-General Ingvar Mattson are participating.

The hearing will be webcasted live and be available afterwards on demand via the Riksdag's website.

Deputy Governor Martin Flodén to discuss current monetary policy at Moody's seminar on Credit Trends.

On Thursday, 25 January at 8.30-9.30 am the Riksbank is organising a breakfast meeting for the media, where Governor Stefan Ingves and Director of Communication Ann-Leena Mikiver will describe the plans for the Riksbank's anniversary year.

Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley is to participate in the meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Among other things, she will participate in:

• A panel debate on "The Crypto-Asset Bubble" on Thursday, 25 January, at 18.00-19.00, Congress Centre, Aspen 2 (livestream on TopLink and on World Economic forum web page).
• A panel debate on "The end of easy money" on Friday, 26 January, at 11.00-12.00, Congress Centre, Sanada (livestream on TopLink and on World Economic forum web page).

Governor Stefan Ingves will hold an opening speech on the Basel III Accord at the ILF's conference in his role as Chairman of the Basel Committee.

First Deputy Governor Kerstin af Jochnick explains what responsibility the Riksbank has with regard to financial stability and how the Riksbank safeguards the efficiency and stability of the financial system. She discusses the Riksbank's responsibility in the light of the current review of the Sveriges Riksbank Act.

Her speech will be commented on by Mattias Persson, Chief Economist at the Swedish National Debt Office.

Governor Stefan Ingves will participate in Norges Bank's seminar "Monetary Policy Symposium 2018" in Oslo and will hold a speech on financial stability risks, monetary policy and the need for macroprudential policy.
