Deputy Governor Henry Ohlsson will participate in the National Mediation Office's conference “Economic conditions for wage formation”.

On 8 October there will be an anniversary discussion at the Riksbank on this year’s Economics prize.

This year the Riksbank is celebrating 350 years as a central bank and it is also 50 years since the Nobel Prize in Economics was established in connection with the Riksbank's 300th anniversary. This is being commemorated in a collaboration with the Nobel Center.

Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley will participate in the Swedish Trade Union Confederation economists’ monetary policy seminar “10 years after the financial crisis – where do we stand now?”.

Henry Ohlsson visits the Western Sweden Chamber of Commerce to discuss current monetary policy and the economic situation.

The visit to Göteborg is the fifth stop in a tour of Sweden the Riksbank is making over the year to mark its 350th anniversary.

Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley will discuss the economic situation and current monetary policy at the conference Profit & Loss Scandinavia 2018.

Governor Stefan Ingves and Deputy Governor Per Jansson will attend the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 31 October 2018.

The Riksbank will hold a press conference on the interest rate decision. Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, and Jesper Hansson, Head of the Monetary Policy Department, will participate in the press conference.

Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend the press conference.

The press conference will be held at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11.

Governor Stefan Ingves will participate in a panel as part of the seminar “Imagine! Science, knowledge, and wisdom in the University of the Future” at Åbo Akademi University.

Governor Stefan Ingves will visit Banco de Portugal and discuss the road to Basel III.
