Calendar 2021

The Riksdag Committee on Finance will invite the Financial Stability Council to an open hearing on financial stability. The theme of the hearing is financial stability risks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting will be open to the general public and the media in that it will be possible to watch it live or afterwards via the Riksdag’s website.

In connection with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund, IMF, concluding its regular Article IV consultation with Sweden, a concluding statement is published, whereby the delegation gives its overall assessment of the situation in the Swedish economy.

The full report will be published on both the IMF's and the Riksbank's websites later in the spring, preliminarily at the end of March or beginning of April.

Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 1

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 17 February 2021.

The minutes from the Executive Board's monetary policy discussion on 9 February 2021 will be published.
