Calendar 2022

On 1 February, the Riksdag Committee on Finance is organising an open hearing on financial stability as regards vulnerability and resilience in the economy in light of the increasing debts of households and commercial property companies. Participants include Governor Stefan Ingves and Erik Thedéen, Director-General of Finansinspektionen (the financial supervisory authority).

The meeting will be open to the general public and the media in that it will be possible to watch it live or afterwards via the Riksdag’s website.

Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 1

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the repo rate will apply from 16 February 2022.

The Riksbank is holding a digital press conference with Governor Stefan Ingves and Jesper Hansson, Head of the Monetary Policy Department, on the monetary policy decision. The press conference will be broadcast live on the website, where it can also be watched afterwards.

Preregistered journalists will be able to ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or equivalent must be shown.

Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will participate in a digital panel discussion on inflation and interest rates organised by Deloitte and the magazine Fokus.

Deputy Governor Anna Breman will participate in a round table on the current economic situation organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden.
