Governor Stefan Ingves will discuss the Riksbank’s role in the economy, the economic situation and current monetary policy at Marknadsföreningen i Helsingborg.

Governor Stefan Ingves will participate in a panel discussion on the future of money at the Latvijas Banka conference “Sustainability and Money: Shaping the Economy of the Future”.

Note that the time for the event is in local time.

First Deputy Governor Anna Breman will participate in the HSB conference and discuss the current world situation with war, ongoing inflation and impending recession.

The second Financial Stability Report of the year will be published.

The Riksbank will hold a press conference conference on financial stability. Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, and Olof Sandstedt, Head of the Financial Stability Department, will take part in the press conference.

Preregistered journalists will be able to participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live on riksbank.se. Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will participate in the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions’ financial network meeting where he will discuss the economic situation.

Executive Board meeting, monetary policy meeting no. 5.

The Executive Board's interest rate decision will be published, together with the Monetary Policy Report.

The decision on the policy rate will apply from 30 November 2022.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference on the monetary policy decision with Governor Stefan Ingves and Jesper Hansson, head of the Monetary Policy Department. The press conference will take place at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11, but pre-registered journalists can also participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se, where it can also be watched afterwards.
