Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will give his views on economic activity, the uncertain situation going forward and coming policy rate decisions at a breakfast meeting. Three companies from Värmland will also participate in the meeting and discuss how inflation, rate rises and energy prices affect them and their sectors.

At 10:00, Governor Stefan Ingves will give a presentation of current monetary policy and the economic situation at the Västerbotten Chamber of Commerce.

At 13:30, Governor Stefan Ingves will speak in Aula Nordica at Umeå University about the Riksbank’s view of economic development and the most recent policy rate decision.

Representatives of the Government, Finansinspektionen (the Swedish FSA), the Riksbank and the Swedish National Debt Office will gather for a meeting of the Financial Stability Council.  More information about Financial Stability Council.

Governor Stefan Ingves will give a speech on macroprudential policy during the sixth annual conference organised by the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB). The conference will be streamed live on the ESRB website. 

Deputy Governor Per Jansson will talk about the challenges and conditions for monetary policy when inflation is high.
