This will be followed by a presentation by the ECB on its work on the digital euro. Finally, a panel discussion will be held with various representatives on the future of the Swedish payment market.

Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate. The monetary policy meeting will be held in Jönköping.

The monetary policy meeting in November will be held in Jönköping

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Report for November 2023.

The decision on the level of the policy rate will apply from 29 November 2023.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference in Jönköping on the monetary policy decision with Governor Erik Thedéen and Åsa Olli Segendorf, Head of the Monetary Policy Department. The press conference will take place at Högskolebiblioteket, Jönköping University at 11:00, but pre-registered journalists can also participate and ask questions via Zoom. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se, where it can also be watched afterwards.
