Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
The OECD provides a forum for the exchange of experience and ideas and is a body for cooperation primarily between the governments of industrialised countries with democracies and market economies.
Sweden was one of the founding members of the OECD in 1960, and is now one of 38 member countries. For the Riksbank, this mainly involves cooperation on macroeconomics, economic policy and financial issues in the committees in which the central banks participate.
