Templates for paying agents

Make the deposit as a regular domestic or foreign transfer to the Riksbank. Below are a number of templates showing how the SWIFT message should look.

The Riksbank’s SSIs (Standard Settlement Instructions):

• BIC = RIKSSESS
• Currency = SEK

Please fill in the elements of the instruction marked with the word “INFORMATION” as follows:

“INFORMATION” + X: Here you can choose what information you enter, such as references, amounts and dates.

“INFORMATION” + description in capitals: Here you should enter information about parties in the payment chain:

• BIC,
• the institution's account number at the Riksbank,
• name and addressing information.

Please note that the institution for which you are acting as agent must be specified as the account holder. 

Template 2 – Agent pacs.009 (BIC)

Use this template, Template 2 – Agent pacs.009 (BIC), to send a pacs.009 to the Riksbank via RIX-RTGS if you are acting as a paying agent for a credit institution that has a BIC.

Template 3 – Agent pacs.009 (NmAd)

Use this template, Template 3 – Agent pacs.009 (NmAd), to send a pacs.009 to the Riksbank via RIX-RTGS. if you are acting as a paying agent for a credit institution that does not have a BIC.

Template 4 – Agent pacs.008

Use this template, Template 4 – Agent pacs.008, if none of the above templates meet your needs.
