Nordic Countries Foreign Exchange Committee
The Nordic Countries Foreign Exchange Committee (NCFXC) is a forum for regular discussions on relevant issues concerning the functioning of the Nordic foreign exchange (FX) market. The committee is a local FX Committee under the Global FX Committee (GFXC), which is responsible for promoting, maintaining and updating the FX Global Code of Conduct.
The NCFXC is composed of representatives of Sveriges Riksbank, Danmarks Nationalbank, Norges Bank, Sedlabanki Islands, Suomen Pankki and market participants having a prominent role in the Nordic FX market. The Committee meets at least twice a year.
When Sedlabanki Islands and Suomen Pankki became full members of the committee in December 2024, the name was changed from the Scandinavian FX Committee to the Nordic Countries FX Committee.
