Monetary policy VIPs talk about the future of central banking

News, Riksbanken Play For 350 years, the Riksbank has promoted a strong and secure economy. But how does the future look for the Riksbank and other central banks? In a filmed interviews, the governors of the central banks in the United States, the United Kingdom and Finland, as well as the general manager of the Bank for International Settlements, share their thoughts on the matter.

When the Riksbank held its anniversary conference on 25 May, some of the world’s most powerful central bank governors were gathered in Stockholm. The Riksbank took the opportunity to ask Jerome Powell of the Federal Reserve, Mark Carney of the Bank of England, Erkki Liikanen of the Bank of Finland and Agustín Carstens of the Bank for International Settlements how they view the future for central banks.
