Press conference on IMF assessment of Swedish economy
News On Thursday, 21 February, a delegation from the International Monetary Fund, IMF, will complete its annual visit to Sweden. The visit forms part of the review of the economic situation that the IMF regularly carries out for each member country, a so-called Article IV consultation.
The delegation has met, among others, representatives of the Riksbank, the Ministry of Finance, Swedish banks, the National Institute of Economic Research, the Swedish National Debt Office, Finansinspektionen and the social partners.
At the press meeting, the leader of the delegation for the Article IV consultation, Craig Beaumont, will present the delegation's view of the Swedish economy. Craig Beaumont will also be available to answer questions after the presentation.
The press conference will be held in the Riksbank on Thursday, 21 February and begin at 1 p.m. Entry via Malmskillnadsgatan 7. Press cards or equivalent must be shown.
The IMF's statement on the Swedish economy will be published on Thursday 21 February at 10 a.m. on the Riksbank's website and will be available at the press conference.
