Hilkka Nyberg new Head of Internal Audit Department at the Riksbank
News The Executive Board of the Riksbank has appointed Hilkka Nyberg as new Head of the Internal Audit Department at the Riksbank. Hilkka has been acting Head of Internal Audit at the Riksbank since November 2024. She will take up her duties on 8 May.

Hilkka Nyberg has lengthy and solid experience in internal audit work. She has previously worked with auditing at PwC, Telia and ICA Gruppen and has, among other things, been responsible for internal audit functions at licensed institutions in the role of Head of Internal Audit at Grant Thornton Sweden.
Since 2023 she has worked at the Riksbank as a senior risk analyst in the Risk Management Department, before being appointed acting head of the Internal Audit Department in November 2024.
