Kerstin af Jochnick participates in the monetary policy meeting in September
Press release Kerstin af Jochnick will leave her post at the Riksbank on 30 September, as agreed by the General Council of the Riksbank at today’s meeting. This means that af Jochnick will participate in the monetary policy meeting on 4 September. The General Council also decided to allow Kerstin af Jochnick to take up her post on the Supervisory Board of ECB Banking Supervision with no waiting period.
In July, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank appointed Kerstin af Jochnick as ECB representative to the Supervisory Board of ECB Banking Supervision. The Supervisory Board is responsible for planning and carrying out the ECB’s banking supervision tasks.
af Jochnick took up the post of First Deputy Governor of the Riksbank on 1 January 2012 with a term of office of six years. Her term was extended in 2017 by a further six years, to 31 December 2023.
