Dag Edvardsson new General Counsel to the Riksbank
News The Executive Board of the Riksbank has appointed Dag Edvardsson as new General Counsel to the Riksbank. His most recent post was Senior Legal Adviser at the Ministry of Finance. He will take up the position on 1 March 2020.
At the Ministry of Finance, Dag mainly worked with securities market law, banking law and issues concerning the Riksbank; among other things, he has been involved in the Riksbank Committee’s work on implementing a review of the monetary policy framework and the Sveriges Riksbank Act.
Dag Edvardsson succeeds Eric Frieberg, who will be on a leave of absence from the Riksbank as of 2 March 2020.
