ESRB warns about vulnerabilities in the EU financial system

The General Board of the ESRB has decided to issue a warning on vulnerabilities in the financial system of the European Union (EU). At its meeting on 22 September 2022, the General Board concluded that risks to the EU financial system have increased. The ESRB warning calls for preserving or enhancing resilience of the EU financial sector so that it can continue to support the real economy if and when financial stability risks materialise.
