Governor Erik Thedéen gives a speech on the Riksbank’s experience of securities purchases when inflation is below the target. The speech will be given at the annual meeting of the Swedish Economics Association.

Monetary policy meeting at which the Executive Board takes a decision on monetary policy including the policy rate.

The Executive Board’s monetary policy decision, including the decision on the policy rate, will be published together with the Monetary Policy Report for June 2026.

The decision on the level of the policy rate will apply from 24 June 2026.

The Riksbank is arranging a press conference on the monetary policy decision. The press conference will take place at the Riksbank, Brunkebergstorg 11. Press cards or the equivalent must be shown to attend. The press conference will be broadcast live at riksbank.se and on Youtube.

The minutes from the Executive Board's monetary policy discussion on 16 June 2026 will be published.
